Warmia, Masuria and Eastern Pomerania

The weekly program includes traveling Warmia, Masuria and Eastern Pomerania. We start it in Poznan, but it may as well begin in Warsaw or Gdansk. It also allows you get to know one of the most beautiful Polish cities - Gdansk and the Gulf of Puck and Hel Peninsula.



Day 1

Arrival to Poznan. Afternoon guided city tours. Cathedral Island, Parish Church, Market and City Hall. Dinner at famous restaurant "Under the goats". Overnight in the city center.


Day 2

Trip to Torun and tour of the Old Town with a local guide. In the evening arrival to the hotel near Mikolajki. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 3

Transfer to Mikolajki harbour and the ship cruise from Mikolajki to Nida. After a nearly three-hour journey through Masurian lakes and canals continue by coach to travel and visit Wojnowo with its small monastery Filipons orden, belongs to old EasternOrthodox . From Wojnowo drive to the hunting lodge, the birthplace of a famous German poet Ernst Weichert. After visiting the exhibition in the small museum ride to the legendary Galindia Country and participation in staging the ancient rituals involving the Vikings and the tribe Galinds. After staging slave market and buying all the little frightened tourists shared fine dinner.On the evening drive  back to the hotel.


Day 4

Visit of the the baroque pearl of Masuria, the Marian Shrine in the Swieta Lipka. After hearing a short organ concert drive to Ketrzyn and visit a local castle. After a break for a meal continue coach trip to Sztynort and walk around the former residence of Count Lendorff. Break for coffee and homemade cake in a guest house in the village  Sadry by Dicti family and explore their backyard Masurian museum, full of old household appliances and old farm machinery. Return to hotel for dinner and grill fish-party at the lake.


Day 5

Trip to Olsztyn and sightseeing with local guide and then drive to the village located at Buczyniec. Sight-seeing of ships transporting equipment by moraine hills from the famous Elblag Canal, one of the unique technical monuments in Europe. Observation of dragging of vessels on special platforms. Another popular place on the way is the largest Polish gothic medieval castle of the Teutonic Knights - Malbork. After visiting the castle dinner at the castle hotel and drive to Gdansk. Accommodation and overnight in the city center.


Day 6

Guided tour of Gdansk - the Town Hall, Long Market, Artus Manor, St Mary's Church, Uphagen House. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 7

Ship cruise to the Hel Peninsula. In the fishing village of Hel visit to the Museum of Fisheries and Seal Centre. Coach drive to Oliwa, district of Gdansk. Walking through Oliwa park and visit of cathedral church. Listening to a short organ concert in one of the most beautiful Baroque interiors in Europe. Transfer to Sopot, a known tourist destination and walk into the wooden pier. Day ends with dinner at one of the elegant restaurant on the Old Town of Gdansk.


Day 8

The end of the tour. Departure back home by train or plane from Rebiechowo airport.
