Medieval Silesia
The program includes sightseeing Leubus Land and Lower Silesia, with particular emphasis on the history of the princes of the Piast dynasty, Cistercian activities and relationships of the Mark Brandenburg.

Day 1
Arrival to Glogow. Visiting the museum in the prince castle. After lunch, drive to and tour of the city of Legnica. Copper Museum, Church of St. John, Tower and the Piast family Mausoleum of the Legnica and Brzeg princes. Coffee break and drive to the Sroda Slaska. Guided visit of The Regional Museum with its famous Sroda treasure. After dinner, drive to Wroclaw. Accommodation at the hotel and overnight.
Day 2
Tours of Wroclaw - Cathedral Island, University with famous Baroque Leopoldina Hall, Convent of the Ursuline Sisters and the Piast Mausoleum, Ossolineum library, market hall and the church of St. Elizabeth. After lunch, departure by coach to Oleśnica. Visiting the castle, "chained library" at basilica, defensive walls with Wrocław Gate. Transfer to Trzebnica and visit the Basilica and grave of St. Hedwig. Walk in picturesque spa part of the town. In a local restaurant dinner with folklore performance. Back to Wroclaw for the overnight.
Day 3
Cruise on the Odra river from the dock at Sand Island, then drive to the Cistercian monastery in Lubiaz. Visiting the monastery and lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Legnica Fields. Visiting the church of St. Hedwig Dientzenhofer with frescoes Assam and the museum battle of Legnica in 1241. The next visited city is Zlotoryja with fragments of city walls and Gothic parish church of the Birth of the Virgin, built under the patronage of Henry I the Bearded, who in 1211 granted the city rights Zlotoryja. After the coffee break, drive to Lwowek Slaski and hotel accommodation. After dinner, an evening stroll along the well-preserved medieval city walls.
Day 4
Drive to visit Siedlecin and Principe Knights Tower of the first half fourteenth century with frescoes depicting the legend of the knight Sir Lancelot. Walk the beaver dam on the river in Pilchowice and visit the ruins of the Piast castle of the thirteenth century in Wlen. After lunch return to Lwówek and visit the town hall, and then drive to Grodziec Castle, which dates back to the twelfth century. Visiting the Castle, coffee break and coach ride for dinner and overnight in Zary.
Day 5
Transfer by coach to Nowgorod Bobrzanski lying on the boundary line between the historical Silesia and Brandenburg. Visiting historic St. Bartholomew church of the thirteenth century. Continuing the journey to Kostrzyn. Visiting the ruins of the castle and the parish church dedicated to God’s Mother Mary. After lunch, departure to visit the museum Santok and Santok castle. Ferry ride to the place of settlement discovered on the opposite bank of the Warta river. Under favorable hydrological conditions, cruise to Gorzow.
Transfer by coach to the train station in Kostrzyn. The end of the tour.
